The Tatio Geysers are born from the geothermal field created by the Tatio Volcano, which produces violent jets of water vapor that boil at dawn. The pillars of water vapor that rise can reach 3 to 4 meters in height. In the area surrounding the Tatio Geysers are located some 3,000 years old towns constituting a heritage of great archaeological importance.
Get up at dawn to enjoy the show starring El Tatio craters as soon as the sun rises. Located at 4,200 meters above sea level, its fumaroles create impressive white steam columns that achieve their greatest splendor between 06:00 and 07:00 am.
